Hepplewhite Style
This is a more conservative
"British" look that developed in the 1780's. This style of furniture
was designed for the typical English home owner. It has a light stance
with delicate moldings and restrained ornament on French feet. The
ribbed sides provided a nice texture and the style was probably easier
to produce in quantity with the wood tools of the day. The simple,
yet elegant design with its large window will go nicely with any decor.
The window is available to manufacturers in a variety of configurations.
